Rea makes his return to his former club and will be highly motivated with First Place in the division at stake in this series. Counsell will also be monitoring Rea closely as he will want to keep this one close. The Cubs would be happy with 5 strong innings from Rea and have pulled him at that mark multiple times this season, despite a low pitch count. Rea has also struggled with his command over the last few starts which could have Brewers hitters patient at the plate to drive his pitch count up. I LOVE this spot for Riley Greene tonight facing right hander Brandon Pfaadt at home! Pfaadt is coming off three strong starts in a row, but his numbers are unimpressive on the road with a 5.94 ERA, over 2 Runs more than at home. Greene is hitting .297 with 23 homers and 60 RBIs against righties this season! This is a great bounce back spot after facing lefties and going 0-4 with 2 K’s last night. The Phillies are coming off a bad loss to the White Sox last night and should be ready to roll. Right hander Jonathan Cannon toes the rubber for Chicago with a 4-7 Record and 4.48 ERA.
