NBA: CJ McCollum (Pelicans) OVER 19.5 Points
New day, new opportunity! Rise and grind. We start things off as we look at the Pelicans vs Bulls matchup. This game should be an absolute score-fest with neither team boasting a good defense and the Bulls playing at a frenetic offensive pace. I am ALL over CJ McCollum tonight after his bad game against the Celtics. His points line has so much value sitting at 19.5. McCollum has been on a scoring frenzy, averaging 25.1 PPG thru 7 games in January, including a 50-point performance against Washington. He’s shooting it well from deep and the return of Zion only opens things up more for the Pelicans offense. The Bulls allow the 3rd most points/game to opposing shooting guards and I see no reason McCollum doesn’t get up 16-20 shot attempts. More than enough to get him to the number tonight. Take CJ McCollum OVER 19.5 Points for the first dub!
NBA: Zaccharie Risacher (Hawks) UNDER 1.5 Made 3PT
We bounce over to the Suns vs Hawks matchup where I like more of a niche play. Zaccharie Risacher has played exceptionally well in his rookie campaign but tonight we fade his 3-point shooting. Risacher is averaging just 0.8 made threes per game in January and shooting 25% from deep. His line tonight is O/U 1.5 made threes and the under is the lock here, despite it being juiced at around -140. The under has hit in 12 of the last 15 games, or 75% of the time. His makes are down, shot attempts are down, confidence behind the arc is down. Fade city! Take Zaccharie Risacher UNDER 1.5 Made Threes!
NCAAB: Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton) OVER 7.5 Rebounds
To the college hoops slate for the final free prop and I am on Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton) Over 7.5 Rebounds! Creighton hosts Providence on Tuesday night and both teams will be looking for their fourth conference win. Each team has suffered major injuries with Pop Isaacs and Bryce Hopkins. Ryan Kalkbrenner has been a monster on the boards the last three games flying over this number all three times. He averages 8 rebounds per game and is tough to keep away from the basketball on both ends of the floor. Ryan is averaging 34 minutes per game in Big East play and we expect the same tonight with his ability to play without fouling. Kalkbrenner is a veteran who will look to expose freshman big man Oswin Erhunmwunse. This number is too low, ride the hot hand and take Ryan Kalkbrenner Over 7.5 Rebounds!
