Scottie Barnes (Raptors) OVER 34 PRA (pts, rebs, assts)
To start things off I want you guys to take Scottie Barnes of the Raptors to go OVER 34 PRA tonight. That is points, rebounds, and assists on the combo stat line. When star players come back from injuries I like to give it several games for them to get their legs and for the numbers to equalize on how the team adjusts. Barnes has now been back for 3 games and his minutes got back to full workload on Monday night. We saw his minutes, shot attempts, points, and rebounds all increase in each of these 3 games. Last time out he was so comfortable and ball dominant that he got up 26 shot attempts, poured in 31 points with 14 rebounds and 7 assists. I expect Barnes to be very aggressive again tonight against the Pelicans whose roster is almost entirely injured and thus they rank in the bottom 10 in league defense. New Orleans has allowed 122 points/game over their last 4 games so there should be plenty of stats tonight. Lock in Scottie Barnes OVER 34 PRA for the first winner!
Jalen Williams (Thunder) UNDER 6.5 Rebounds
Onto free play number two. I want you guys to take Jalen Williams of the Thunder to go UNDER 6.5 rebounds. This is a play I really like and we just cashed this same prop on our VIP card Monday night. I run it back because oddsmakers haven’t adjusted. Williams has been one of the Thunder’s top rebounders while Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren were sidelined. Hartenstein has been back for two games now and put up 24 rebounds in those two games. He’s allowed Williams to focus more on scoring the ball, putting up 28 and 30 points. Last game Williams had just 4 rebounds, one of his lowest outputs of the season. His numbers are going to shift back to where he’s historically been at with a true starting center in the lineup. Playing similar minutes the past 2 seasons Williams only averaged 4 and 4.5 rebounds/game which is why this line continues to have excellent value. His line should be at 5.5 and our analytics project him for 5.2 boards tonight. A really nice advantage on the current line. Take Jalen Williams UNDER 6.5 Rebounds!
Jared McCain (76ers) OVER 19.5 Points
For the third and final free prop I want you guys to lock in on rookie phenom Jared McCain of the 76ers to go OVER 19.5 points. My analytics are showing really good value here with him projected to put up 24 or more points. McCain has burst onto the scene this year with his recent big point production. He’s gone over this line in 7 of his last 8 games and I love it over again tonight. He’s been in the starting lineup even with Tyrese Maxey back and McCain is getting so many shot attempts, more than 16 per game over this 8-game stretch. Plus, the matchup is favorable as Houston is traveling to Philly after a huge overtime win against Minnesota last night. I expect the 76ers legs to be more fresh and Houston to come out sluggish on the defensive end. Let’s get another sweep and finish things off with Jared McCain OVER 19.5 points!
