NFL: Russell Wilson (Steelers) UNDER 233.5 Passing Yards
It was a nice Friday night and our 5th straight day of profit on the VIP card. Today I’m going to be giving you guys a free VIP pick off the bat here in the NFL. I am really liking the value on Russell Wilson UNDER 233.5 Passing Yards. While the Bengals pass defense is ranked near the bottom of the NFL this year they’re playing A LOT better as of late, ranking in the top half of the league the last 3 weeks. Cincinnati has to win to keep their miracle playoff chances alive while the game is less meaningful for the Steelers who are almost certainly a wild card team. The line here is higher than it should be. Wilson threw for a season-best 414 yards against the Bengals 6 weeks ago but this game should be very different. In 4 games since that performance Russell has not surpassed 233.5 yards a single time, averaging just 177 yards per game over this stretch. My analytics have him pegged for right around 200 (and I see it being even less) so there is a nice value advantage on the under. Both teams will likely play stout defense and make big plays hard to come by. Expect long possessions and clock to be eaten on both sides. NBA: Jaren Jackson Jr. (Grizzlies) UNDER 25.5 Points
For free play number two I bounce over to the NBA where VIP plays are scorching hot. We look to Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Memphis Grizzlies and his point total of O/U 25.5 points. If you follow me, you’ll notice most of the high quality value is on the Unders in the NBA if you find the right spots. This is one of them as the Grizz are entering a road back-to-back at Golden State and it’s going to be a tough game offensively. The Warriors are a top 10 defense at home and Jackson Jr. averages 22.3 points/game on the year. He will get his shots up no doubt, but I don’t see him being efficient tonight. Last time he faced the Warriors he put up just 17 points. Critics will say he’s going to score more without Ja in the lineup but that hasn’t been true. He’s averaging 23 PPG without Ja and as of last night the Grizzlies had a fairly deep lineup with Edey and Clarke back from injuries. In order to win Jackson Jr. will have to be unselfish and I don’t see an easy route to 26+ points for him here. NCAAB: Danny Wolf (Michigan) OVER 23.5 PRA (OVER 11.5 Points as a backup option)
The third and final free play is in college hoops where things are even hotter! We are 26-6 over the last 2 weeks and absolutely dialed in. I want you guys to take Danny Wolf of Michigan to go OVER 23.5 PRA (or OVER 11.5 points if you can’t get the PRA line). Dusty May has Michigan off to a 10-3 record to start his tenure in Ann Arbor. Expectations were not high coming into the season with the massive roster overhaul. The culture Dusty is building at Michigan is evident based on the unselfishness the Wolverines have been playing with. A big reason why is Yale transfer Danny Wolf who is averaging 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Michigan poses problems for opposing defenses with Wolf being able to handle the ball, run the pick and roll with fellow 7 footer Vlad Goldin, finish at the rim, and spread the ball around to the multitude of shooters. If you haven’t seen Wolf play yet, you’re missing out and should tune in tonight! He is a tough cover and can hurt you in so many ways, which is why we love his combo stat line tonight!
