With a pick-your-hero strategy, the Indiana Pacers are only two wins away from making their first NBA Finals appearance since 2000. Game 1 featured Tyrese Haliburton and Aaron Nesmith, while Game 2 featured Pascal Siakam taking control of the game. When the series resumes in Indianapolis tonight, the Pacers aim to put the New York Knicks on life support.
After winning two games in New York, Indiana now leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. In Game 1, the Pacers won 138–135 in overtime after rallying from a 14-point deficit with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. Following that, Indiana won Game 2, 114-109.
The Knicks have been led by Jalen Brunson, who has scored 43 and 36 points. The Pacers, on the other hand, are never sure who will step up. Siakam took the lead in Game 2 with 39 points on 15-of-23 shooting after Haliburton had 31 points and 11 assists in Game 1. Nesmith added 30 points and made 8-of-9 three-pointers in the series opener.
The Pacers will have the opportunity to sweep the series at home on Tuesday if they triumph on Sunday. However, Rick Carlisle, the coach of Indiana, is unwilling to discuss that topic.
The Knicks are currently concentrating on filling a huge void. In Game 2, Brunson also contributed 11 assists, but with 8.1 seconds remaining, he missed a three-pointer that would have tied the score.
Karl-Anthony Towns played just 28 minutes because of his struggles defending Siakam, but New York had defensive issues time and again. Josh Hart asked for more of Mitchell Robinson in Game 3 after he had 29 minutes of playing time off the bench with six points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.
The environment on Sunday should be pretty wild. Tonight’s game will come after the traditional Memorial Day weekend Indianapolis 500. The Pacers can go up 3-0 with a win, but they did lose Game 3 in their first-round series against Milwaukee and then again against Cleveland after being up 2-0.

The Knicks have to find ways to slow down Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, which leaves Nembhard with some pretty favorable matchups. Look for him to hit this prop once again in Game 3.
