As the sun sets on a brand new workweek, the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder brace themselves for another divisional slugfest. These two basketball titans just played yesterday with the Thunder emerging victorious in a comfortable 127-103 win. With this victory, they've successfully tipped the season series in their favor, leading 2-1.
Currently, the Nuggets hold the third position in the conference standings. Denver trails the Thunder by 12 games in the Northwest Division race.. Their recent performances have been a mixed bag, with three wins in five games. That includes a loss to the Celtics and a bounce-back win against the Kings at home. However, Sunday's loss against the Thunder was a pretty harsh blow. Their performance against the spread has been bleak too, with only one covering in their last five games.

The Thunder is eyeing the premium spot in the NBA, in a competitive tussle with the Cavaliers. They've already clinched their division and conference crowns and hold a comfortable 12-game lead over the Nuggets. The team's recent form is near perfect, with nine wins in their last ten matches.
The Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a true MVP contender this season. Jalen Williams, despite dealing with a wrist injury, has been racking up significant points as well. The team is also boosted by the return of Chet Holmgren from injury and the consistent performances of Aaron Wiggins.
The Thunder's home record is an impressive 4-1 from their last five games. They've been efficient on both ends of the court, averaging 119.6 points per game offensively and only yielding 106.6 defensively, making them the second-best in the NBA.
While the Nuggets have been somewhat inconsistent of late, the Thunder has maintained a dominant form, winning nine of their last ten. When it comes to the defensive side of the ball, the Nuggets struggle a bit, with a slightly subpar performance. OKC has already beaten Denver by 15 and by 24 just yesterday. Playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, the Thunder are a very impressive 9-4 SU this season.
