The Mets could end this series and punch their ticket to the NLCS with a win tonight. They will have the pitching advantage. Jose Quintana goes up against Philadelphia's Ranger Suarez. Quintana has been in great form over his last seven starts. In five of them, he didn't allow a single run. He gave up only 3 ER total in that stretch. That's a 0.63 ERA!

One of Quintana's last seven starts was against the Phillies. He pitched 7 innings, allowed 0 ER, and the Mets won that game. New York won 5 of the 7.

Suarez had a great first half of the season. He struggled down the stretch though, giving up 15 ER in his last 4 starts. That covered 17.1 innings. One of the starts was against the Mets. Suarez pitched well in that one - 5 IP, 2 ER - but the Phillies would lose 6-3.

Suarez will be on a short leash today. I doubt we'll see him pitch past the fourth inning. Still, I think the value here is on the F5 total. The F5 Under has cashed in all three games in this series so far. It has also cashed in 8 of the Mets last 10 games.

NEW MEXICO STATE @ JACKSONVILLE STATE (JSU -20, 58.5)

It's Conference USA action on a Wednesday night! Jacksonville State pounded Kennesaw State last Friday night and they are going to lay the wood on New Mexico State tonight. JSU is build around the run under head coach Rich Rodriguez. They were one of the top rushing teams in the nation last year and they are this season as well.

The Gamecocks rank No. 22 in rushing offense this season. They average 204.4 yards per game on the ground. Last week in the win over Kennesaw, JSU ran for 384 yards. QB Tyler Huff is the team's leading rusher. He had 176 yards last week. New Mexico State is one of the worst run defenses in the country. NMSU ranks 133rd out of 134 teams in run defense, allowing 277.3 yards per game.

NMSU is going to get gashed tonight. I would check out some of the rushing props in this game. I like Jacksonville State against a bad New Mexico State team. JSU has covered 8 of its last 10. I actually grabbed this one early at -17, but I'll lay the 20 on the Gamecocks.

NY YANKEES @ KANSAS CITY ROYALS (NYY -120, 8)

Seth Lugo has been in great form recently. In the month of September, he had a 2.28 ERA. One of those starts was against the New York Yankees. Lugo pitched 7 innings, did not allow a run, and struck out 10 in a 5-0 Royals victory.

Clarke Schmidt starts for the Yankees tonight. Schmidt had a rough go in his last two regular season starts, allowing 7 ER in 9.1 IP, but he did finish the season with a sub-3.00 (2.85) ERA. Schmidt also pitched very well on the road this season. His road ERA was 1.39. He'll face a KC offense that is averaging 3 runs per game in the playoffs. Six of the last seven Royals games have gone Under the total. So have 3 of the last 4 between these two teams.
