NY METS @ LA DODGERS (LAD -145, 8.5)

METS F5 ML

After getting shellacked 9-0 last night in Game 1 of the NLCS, the Mets will turn to Sean Manaea. He is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA this postseason. In his last start, he went 7 innings against the Phillies. Manaea allowed just 3 hits and 1 ER. He did face the Dodgers this season, but it was way back in April. He gave up 2 ER in 5 IP. The Mets went on to win that game.

Since that start, Manaea has changed his delivery. The Dodgers have yet to face the new Manaea, who finished the regular season 12-6 with a 3.47 ERA. He was one of the best F5 ML pitchers in MLB this season, going 18-8-5. The Mets had the second-most F5 ML wins this season. I like the Mets to rebound behind Manaea and at least play well early in tonight's game.

BUFFALO @ NY JETS (BUF -1, 40.5)

BILLS ML

The Jets are getting some serious love in this one tonight. They fired their head coach Robert Saleh and demoted their offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett this week. They will be playing at home and they have been playing great defense. The Jets rank No. 12 in total defense and No. 7 against the pass.

Bills QB Josh Allen has had trouble with good defenses this season. Last week, Allen went 9-for-30 for 131 yards. But, here's the thing with Allen. He's played in seven games after the Bills have lost two straight. He's 6-1 SU in those games. He's also very good in the second half of games.

With Allen at quarterback, the Bills are 63-42-3 ATS in the second half. So far this season, Allen and the Bills are 4-1 against the second half spread. Consider a play on that, but keep in mind the Bills have won 6 of the last 8 against the Jets. That's where the value is.

BUFFALO @ NY JETS (BUF -1, 40.5)

BRAELON ALLEN ANYTIME TD

The Jets drafted Braelon Allen to provide some depth behind Breece Hall at the running back position. He is doing just that. Allen is averaging 4.5 yards per carry this season and he and Hall will run against a Bills defense that is subpar at best. Buffalo ranks 25th against the run this season allowing 144 yards per game on the ground. The Bills also rank 31st in DVOA vs. running backs in the passing game.

Bills DT Ed Oliver is out tonight and LB Von Miller continues to serve his suspension. With a new play-caller, expect the Jets to keep it simple. They'll run the ball and use play action. Allen has caught a pass in every game so far this season. He scored his lone touchdown this season on a pass reception against Tennessee. He'll have the opportunity to get into the end zone tonight.
