Opposite Castillo will be Reds LHP Nick Lodolo, who has pitched even better than Castillo so far in 2025. Lodolo is 2-1 with a 0.95 ERA in three starts. All three starts were quality starts and Lodolo hasn't allowed an earned run in either of his last two trips to the mound. Those were against San Francisco and Milwaukee.
Seattle is just 0-3 in road games this season and they've struggled against lefties too. The Mariners are hitting just .188 against LHP. Eight of Cincinnati's last 12 games have gone Under the total, including 4 of the last 5 at home.

The Pirates will get tonight's win because of Washington pitcher Jake Irvin. Irvin does not have a decision yet this season, but he does have an ERA of 5.62. Irvin has given up 4 ER in each of his last two starts. He ranks in the bottom 10 of a number of pitching metrics. I like Pittsburgh to get to him and pick up their second straight win.
