Quintana is 4-1 with a 2.66 ERA. In 6 of his 8 starts, Quintana has allowed 1 ER or less. He also has great numbers against St. Louis in his career. He has a 7-4 record and 3.84 ERA in 15 career starts. He has a low walk rate and a high strikeout rate against St. Louis hitters.

The Cardinals will go with Andre Pallante who has had some issues as of late. Over his last seven starts, Pallante is 2-1, but his ERA is 5.26. Unlike Quintana, Pallante has some poor numbers against Milwaukee hitters. In 47 plate appearances against Milwaukee, Pallante has a high walk rate and a .509 xSLG%.
