The Guardians are hot, right? Easy Tiger. They won three straight over Houston, but this feels more like a letdown spot for Cleveland, at least early. The White Sox, of course, are one of the five worst teams in MLB, but they haven't been all that bad against LHP lately.
The White Sox are also one of the better First Five teams in MLB. Chicago is 51-41 against the F5 run line this season. On the opposite end, the Guardians are one of the worst F5 teams with a 41-50 run line record.
Logan Allen starts for Cleveland and while he's pitched okay, the Guardians have lost each of his last four starts. Jonathan Cannon starts for the White Sox and Chicago figured out a way to win his last two starts. Don't forget, Cleveland has one of the worst lineups in baseball and their latest three wins are the only three wins in their last 13 games. Chicago keeps this one close early.
