WARRIORS @ MAVERICKS 2/12/25
The Golden State Warriors are basking in the benefits of the recent Jimmy Butler trade, as their energy is revitalized with the six-time All-Star in their lineup. Looking to notch a 3-0 record with Butler on board, the Warriors are set to clash with the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night.
Stephen Curry and Butler, the latter recently acquired from the Miami Heat, delivered clutch performances in the Warriors' recent victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, 125-111. Curry matched his season-high with 38 points while Butler posted 20 points along with nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
Butler is swiftly finding his groove with the Warriors, even contributing to their season-high 16 steals against Milwaukee. Despite confessing that he's still not game-ready following his suspension-filled final month with Miami, Butler expresses his anxiousness to get back in top shape and contribute more.
Curry has been thriving in Butler's presence, scoring 30 points or more in four straight games. He also nailed a total of 14 three-pointers in the past two games. Butler's arrival, according to Curry, has eased the pressure on every possession, allowing him to be more consistently aggressive.
In contrast, the Dallas Mavericks are one of the teams eagerly looking forward to the upcoming All-Star break. Their recent trade involving Luka Doncic and receiving Anthony Davis and Max Christie from the Los Angeles Lakers has made for a chaotic month.
Injuries have also piled on for the Mavericks, including Davis' left adductor strain, which will take him out of play for several weeks. Center Daniel Gafford is the latest addition to the injury list, with a sprained right knee.
Despite the injuries, the Mavericks continue to show resilience, with Kyrie Irving scoring 30 points in their recent loss against the Sacramento Kings. Klay Thompson, who scored 19 points in the same game, could be expected to carry more responsibility against his former team on Wednesday.
The Mavs are just 2-4 SU in their last six games. They are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games though. Golden State won and covered each of its last two games. Both teams have seen the Over cash in 8 of their last 10 games and the Over is 8-2 in the last 10 games between Golden State and Dallas.

KYRIE IRVING UNDER 33.5 PTS+REBS
You would think that Irving would be shouldering more of the load with Luka gone, but that’s not exactly the case. Irving has actually not gone Over this number in 14 of his last 16 games against top 10 defenses. He’s averaged 26.0 PTS+REBS in those 10 games. Irving has failed to reach 5.5 rebounds in 9 of his last 10 games at home. In 24 career games against the Warriors, Irving has averaged 23.1 points and 4.6 rebounds.
