Yordan Alvarez (Astros) OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, RBIs
We had a clean sweep 3-0 on MLB free props last night and looking to repeat tonight! The first value spot I like is Astros 3-hole hitter Yordan Alvarez. He’s had a slow start to 2025 but is an offensive juggernaut at the plate. Alvarez has hit 30+ home runs, driven in 85+ RBIs, and batted .277 or better for FOUR straight seasons. He doesn’t have much history against Eric Fedde of the Cardinals but Fedde struggled in his 2nd start this season giving up 6 earned runs against the Red Sox. Houston took the L last night by a score of 3-8 and I think it’s a nice bounce back spot. Alvarez’s line will be O/U 2.5 for many parts of the season so we get an incredible buy low spot tonight for the Astros best overall hitter. Lock in Yordan Alvarez OVER 1.5 Hits, Runs, & RBIs!
Jack Flaherty (Tigers) OVER 6.5 K's
For the second free prop tonight I have a plus money spot that I like for Jack Flaherty of the Tigers. Flaherty has been electric to start the season going 1-0 with a 1.62 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 3 starts. Tonight he faces the Milwaukee Brewers and I love his whiff potential tonight. Flaherty has racked up 8 strikeouts per game so far against 3 teams that rank similarly to the Brewers in the swing and miss category. Current Brewers hitters have combined for 20 strikeouts in 68 career at-bats against Flaherty, striking out almost 30% of the time. His line may seem high tonight at surface level, but it's for good reason and at plus money I have him projected to hit the 7-mark. Tarik Skubal posted 9 K’s against Milwaukee last night and I look for Flaherty to have a similar performance tonight. Take Jack Flaherty OVER 6.5 K’s @ +115 odds!
Yusei Kikuchi (Angels) UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed
Looking for a third dub on the card tonight and I see great value in Angels starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi to go UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed. Kikuchi is having a pretty brutal start to his 2025 campaign and first year with the Angels, going 0-2 with a 5.00 ERA and 1.28 WHIP thru 3 starts. Despite giving up 8 walks and 10 earned runs already, he’s still getting his typical swing and misses. Kikuchi is a really solid lefty and has proven that over the last 4 years. Last season he had a 2.70 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in his 10 starts with Houston after being traded from Toronto. Current Rangers hitters have combined to go just 21 for 95 (.221) against Kikuchi in their careers. We have a large sample size and a veteran pitcher that’s due, after shaking the rust off to start the year. I see this game being low-scoring with Kikuchi pitching really well, and oddsmakers show that they expect the same. Take Yusei Kikuchi UNDER 5.5 Hits Allowed and LET’S SWEEP AGAIN!
